We started Gnarly Rose because we couldn't stop digging, and because the best clothes we ever owned came with someone else's memories already stitched in.
That tee was bought at a real show. That jacket rode in somebody's back seat through a few Arizona summers. We go looking for those pieces, clean them up, check every seam, and hang them where they'll find their next owner.
We recently moved into a bigger space on Ray Road, which means more racks, more room to try things on, and more reasons to stay a while.
We pass on far more than we buy. If it's on the rack, we'd wear it.
The most sustainable clothes are the ones that already exist.

Digging is half the fun, but some days you want a shortcut. Book an hour of the shop to yourself and we’ll either pull the rack for you or teach you how to read a garment.

Single stitch, tag fonts, union labels, copyright lines, the tells that separate a real tour tee from a reprint. We put actual pieces in your hands and walk through what dates them.
